LOLA
Dancer, DJ, cultural entrepreneur and event organizer, Lola is a complete artist whose work bridges performance, music, and cultural research. Rooted in hip-hop, house, and dancehall, she is driven by the desire to honor traditions while shaping the future of urban culture.
THE BEGGINING
Born in France, Lola started to dance since she was 12 years old. Passionated by the movement, she integrated the prestigious Centre Chorégraphique James Carlès in 2016 to professionalized herself in the dance industry. She got to perfect her contemporary and jazz style while having different choreographer to work with.
During the program, she discovered different street dance and decided to moved to Paris to perfection her style in hip-hop and dancehall.
She integrated the MRG Studio for a year in 2019, where she learnt the basics of street dance : hip-hop, dancehall, house dance and afro.
Always drift with her mentor Stéphane Adou Mbella, she kept practicing and acknowledging her urban culture through dance, travels and dance event where she attended at.
Then, she taught in a prestigious Conservatory in Paris in 2020 and taught workshops in different cities in hip-hop and dancehall.
NEW YORK CITY
In 2021, Lola relocated to New York City to further explore the birthplace of hip-hop and connect with pioneers of the culture. Since then, she has trained intensively, battled, choreographed, collaborated with icons such as Link (Elite Force Crew), Eric Negron, and The Pyrotech, and performed in numerous showcases.
Her experience in battles across New York, Los Angeles, and Montreal has built her reputation as a dancer able to adapt with authenticity across styles — from hip-hop and house to dancehall and contemporary. Alongside dance, she has developed her voice as a DJ, uniting people through music and energy.

CULTURAL LEADERSHIP & VISION
Lola is the co-founder and manager of Dancehall Vybz Spirit, one of the world’s most recognized dancehall events, launched in France in 2019 and later brought to New York in collaboration with Peridance Center. Through this project, she has created platforms where dancers, DJs, and creators can connect and shine on an international scale.
Her current project, A.RTIST, is a media platform dedicated to dance and culture, aiming to highlight voices from both Europe and the U.S.
Lola’s work reflects her belief that dance is more than movement — it is culture, history, and community. She is committed to honoring traditions, transmitting knowledge, and creating spaces where art can inspire, empower, and connect people across borders.
